    Suspect Wanted for Stabbing on Monroe St in Downtown Detroit

    DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to a critical stabbing that occurred in the downtown area.

    On Friday, April 12th, 2019, at approximately 7:05 p.m., the suspect and the 20-year-old male victim were involved in a verbal dispute in the 500 block of Monroe (outside) when the suspect stabbed the victim, critically injuring him. The suspect then fled on foot last seen getting on the people mover.

    Wanted: White male, in his 30’s, wearing a tan Carhartt jacket.
