Adel Mozip appointed to Dearborn Public School’s Board of Education

Dearborn Public Schools’ Board of Education selected Adel Mozip to fill the vacant seat on the board Monday night.

The vacancy was left by Fadwa Hammound, who resigned after being appointed to serve as the Michigan Solicitor General.

The Board had 30 days from Hammoud’s resignation date of March 17 to appoint a new School Board Trustee.

Mozip was the next highest person who didn’t win one of the open seats in last year’s election for the board.
