    Dearborn man dead after shooting at Inkster gas station

    The Michigan State Police were called to investigate a shooting death that happened Saturday afternoon in Inkster.

    The victim Ali Al-Tameeni, 34, was from Dearborn.

    Witnesses said the victim and the shooter got in an argument over a car parked in the lot before it got physical, and eventually shots were fired.

    The gun belonged to the victim, he was a legal concealed carry holder. During the fighter he was knocked down and the gun was dropped.

    The shooter picked it up and fired multiple shots, killing Al-Tameeni.

    The shooting happened at about 3:30 p.m. at a Marathon gas station on Michigan Avenue.

    The shooter was arrested. His name wasn’t released pending arraignment.
